The Board of Directors of Anodos Foundation is pleased to announce that the 2000 Arthur M. Young Award has been presented to Frans Maan, M.D., of The Netherlands, in recognition of his successful application of the Theory of Process to the practice of homeopathic medicine, his testing in clinical cases of the diagnostic and conceptual tools he developed, and his dissemination of these tools to fellow practitioners through his book, "Homeopathy in Reflexive Perspective". Two Anodos Awards of Merit have also been presented:

-- to Tom Mellett, in acknowledgement of his accomplishment in bringing the Theory of Process into his work as a high school science teacher and using a variety of techniques drawn from the TOP to enhance his students' ability to learn required subjects

-- to Patricia Ryan, in acknowledgement of her productive use of the Theory of Process in creating the "Theory of Isomorphism in Information Systems" for which she received a Master of Arts degree in Anthropology, and to encourage her towards fruition in implementing her TOP-based model for intervention strategies within community health and social service agencies.
